This Privacy Policy explains how Kydo Club handles information during our parent-only beta discovery and support experience.
Who Kydo is
Kydo Club is a beta service for parents and guardians exploring children's activities and providers. During this beta, Kydo provides discovery and support tools only.
Beta scope
The beta lets parents create an account, add child profile and onboarding details, browse provider or activity information, and contact Kydo to register interest or ask for help. Kydo does not currently provide payments, booking confirmation, live availability, credits or subscriptions, push notifications, admin or partner access, or provider self-service through the parent beta.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the beta, we may collect:
- Parent account and contact data, such as name, email address, phone number, and login details.
- Child profile and preference information provided by a parent or guardian for discovery, such as name, age or date of birth, interests, preferences, and general area.
- Provider and activity browsing activity, such as pages viewed or filters used.
- Register-interest and contact messages you send to Kydo, including WhatsApp or email messages.
- Basic technical information needed to keep the app secure and working.
How we use information
We use beta information to:
- Operate parent accounts and child profiles.
- Show provider and activity discovery information.
- Respond to register-interest, contact, and support requests.
- Improve the beta experience and fix issues.
- Protect the app, database, and user accounts from misuse.
Infrastructure and diagnostics
Kydo uses Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure. Kydo also has Sentry configured for technical diagnostics and error monitoring. Diagnostics are used to understand crashes, errors, and reliability issues; they are not used for advertising.
What is not included in this beta
Kydo does not collect camera data, microphone data, precise device location, payment card data, payment transaction data, or live booking data in this parent beta. Kydo does not sell parent or child data.
Sharing
If you ask Kydo to help with a provider or activity, we may use the information you provided to respond to you and coordinate the enquiry. We may also share information where required to comply with law, protect users, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or operate the service.
Children's information
Kydo is intended for parents and guardians, not for children to use independently. Child data is collected from the parent or guardian only. Parents should only add child information they are comfortable sharing with Kydo for discovery and support during the beta.
Deletion requests
You can request deletion of your Kydo account and associated parent/child profile information by contacting us at help@kydoclub.com or through Kydo support. We may need to verify the request before deletion. Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or operational record purposes.
